Updated 3 Oct 2026 by TopOnMaps team
Quick answer
Go to seller.indiamart.com, enter your mobile number and confirm the OTP. Fill in your name, company name, email, city, PIN code and GST details, add at least three products and your business address. Registration is free. Who should list on IndiaMART
- Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and traders who sell to other businesses.
- Local suppliers who get bulk enquiries: packaging, machinery, building materials, industrial supplies.
You can skip it if
- You only sell to walk-in retail customers. IndiaMART buyers are mostly businesses looking for suppliers.
Free or paid?
What's free
IndiaMART says registration is free and the free account has no time limit. You can list products and answer buyer enquiries.
What's paid
IndiaMART sells paid packages, including TrustSEAL, Maximiser and Verified Exporter services, for more visibility and leads. Prices aren't on its help pages; ask IndiaMART for a quote.
How to list on IndiaMART
Open the seller portal
Go to seller.indiamart.com on a computer or use the IndiaMART app.
Verify your mobile number
Enter the 10-digit number for the business and confirm the OTP. Every registration needs this step.
Fill in basic details
Add your name, company name, email, city, PIN code and GST number. Use the company name as it appears on your Google profile and GST registration.
Add at least three products
Name products the way buyers search for them, like "corrugated boxes" rather than an internal code. Add photos and prices if you can.
Enter the business address
Add the full address with PIN code and state. Then click to start selling and you'll land on your seller dashboard.
Wait for the listing to appear
IndiaMART says it can take up to 7 days for a new company to show in free listings.
How verification works
- Every sign-up is confirmed with a mobile OTP.
- To become a verified supplier, verify your mobile and email, update company name and address, add at least six products, then answer IndiaMART's verification call.
- TrustSEAL is a separate paid verification badge.
Keep it matching your Google profile
- Use the same company name as your Google profile. If your GST trade name is different, pick one public name and use it everywhere.
- Keep the address identical to Google, down to the industrial area or plot number.
- Use the same phone number. IndiaMART buyers often call directly, so it should be one that's answered.
Common problems
Too many irrelevant enquiries
Make product names and descriptions specific, and remove products you don't really sell.
Company not showing after registration
Wait the full week IndiaMART mentions, then contact customer care if it still isn't visible.
