Get more reviews, the right way
Reviews are one of the biggest reasons customers pick one business over another. Google removes reviews, and can suspend profiles, when they're collected the wrong way.
- Ask every customer the same way, not only the happy ones.
- Never offer a discount, gift or anything else in return for a review.
- Don't set up a phone or tablet at your counter for customers to review on. Let them review on their own phone.

Questions
Is this the same link Google gives me?
It opens the same review box. Google also shows a short review link in your Business Profile under "Ask for reviews", and either one works.
Does the link ever change?
No. It's built from your business's permanent Google ID, so you can print it on bills and cards and keep using it.
Can I put the QR code on my counter?
A printed card or a code on your bill is fine, because customers scan it on their own phone. What Google doesn't allow is a device at your business that customers use to post reviews.
