How to list your clinic or doctor profile on Practo
Updated 3 Oct 2026 by TopOnMaps team
Quick answer
Register at Practo's profile page with your name, email, mobile and clinic name, confirm the OTP, then choose a doctor profile or a clinic profile. Practo checks your ID, degree and medical registration, plus proof that you run the clinic. Practo says listing is free and separate from its paid products, and a clinic profile goes live after about 48 hours of checks.
Who should list on Practo
- Doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and other practitioners who see patients at a clinic.
- Clinics and polyclinics that want each consulting doctor shown with timings.
You can skip it if
- You're a pharmacy, lab-only business or wellness centre without registered practitioners. Practo's profiles are built around doctors and their practices.
Free or paid?
What's free
Practo says the profile listing is free and doesn't depend on buying any other Practo product.
What's paid
Practo also sells software and promotion for practices. Ask for terms in writing if you're offered a paid plan; the free listing doesn't need one.
How to list on Practo
Register on Practo's profile page
Enter your name, email, mobile number and establishment name, then confirm the OTP sent to your phone.
Choose doctor or clinic
Pick a medical practitioner profile if you're listing yourself, or a clinic profile if you're listing the practice.
Claim, don't duplicate
Practo searches for existing profiles that match you. If yours already exists, select it instead of creating a new one.
Add your registration details
Enter your field of study, degrees and medical council registration. These are what make the profile verified.
Link doctor and clinic
A doctor profile needs a clinic added before it goes live. A clinic profile needs at least one consulting doctor.
Add address, timings and photos
Practo wants street address, locality, city, PIN code and map location. Photos should be clear, well-lit and free of watermarks or patients.
How verification works
- For doctors: government photo ID, degree copies and your medical registration number or certificate.
- For clinics: proof of ownership, such as a clinic registration, a municipal waste disposal document, a business tax receipt, or a photo of the clinic signboard.
- Practo says it needs about 48 hours to check a clinic profile before it goes live.
Keep it matching your Google profile
- Practo wants the clinic name exactly as on your signboard, without the area, city or specialty added. Google's rules say the same, so one name works for both.
- Use the same street address and PIN code on Practo as on your Google profile, and make sure both map pins are on your building.
- Use the clinic's main number on both. If each doctor has their own number, keep those on the doctor profiles, not the clinic name.
Common problems
Clinic name rejected
Generic names like "Clinic" or names with taglines or the locality are not allowed. If your clinic name includes a doctor's name, Practo asks for proof such as the registration certificate.
Photos not accepted
Practo rejects dark, blurry, tilted or watermarked photos, collages, and photos with patients. Doctor photos should be passport-style headshots.
Old profile at a previous clinic
Claim your existing doctor profile and update the practice details rather than making a new one.
Questions
Can I write "Best dentist in Pune" in my profile?
No. Practo doesn't allow promotional claims or discount offers on profiles, and Google doesn't allow them in your business name either.
Do I need to list each doctor separately?
Yes. Each doctor has their own profile linked to the clinic, with their own registration details and timings.
Is your Google profile right?
Directory listings work best when they copy a correct Google profile. Get a free audit of your listing and see what to fix first.
